Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer with Talentcare, you will evaluate and align new client business needs with any combination of Talentcare solutions. You will be an expert in all Talentcare product sets and their subsequent client use cases, setup configurations, and best implementation practices for the long-term success of holistic recruiting efforts.

  • Evaluate and assess client business needs to ensure alignment with Talencare solution offerings.
  • Become a recognized technical expert with the internal product suite and in identifying solutions for new client relationships.
  • Support the sales process by gathering necessary requirements and data in advance of new client kickoff.
  • Identify product/functionality gaps required to deliver Talentcare solutions and collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define the necessary enhancements to support delivery of agreed solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams including sales, implementations, technology, support, and operations to ensure all aspects of a client contract are addressed.
  • Develop solution workflows and solution design workflow templates to assist with configurations.
Sales Engineer Job Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to work independently.
  • Highly skilled at applying consultative methodologies and techniques to influence solution design and solve customer pain points.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder at the C-level with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience within the recruiting or HR technology industry is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • 2+ years experience in a sales support or sales engineer role for both SaaS and service-based projects
