Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Spark SQL, PySpark, and Python. 
  • Leverage AWS services to build and optimize data solutions. 
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across varying experience levels. 
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 
  • 3–5 years of application development experience with AWS. 
  • Proven experience in data pipeline creation and implementation. 
  • Proficiency in Spark SQL, PySpark, Python, and AWS services. 
  • Familiarity with S3, MySQL, Redshift, SQL Server, Glue, and shell scripting. 
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design). 
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and technical documentation. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Understanding of Data Science principles, including feature engineering. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence leadership.
